Avoid excess watering of plants and grasses.

Limit use of pesticides as much as possible.

Dispose of soapy water via sinks, not the streets.

Never dispose of oil or other engine fluids down the storm drain or onto the ground.

Check all vehicles for fluid leaks or spills. Make repairs as soon as possible.

Pick up and dispose of pet waste in trash receptacles.

Use soap and cleaning products sparingly when washing vehicles.
Or, when possible, use commercial car washes.
